The standard size for BEDROOM range from 9-12m2.
The proportions are usually 3x3m or 3x4m

Kitchen
The standard size for KITCHEN range from 7-16m2.
The proportions are usually 2.4x3m or 4x4m

The PRINCIPLE of a kitchen design is to accommodate the kitchen counter depth of 0.6m + a circulation path of 1.2m which gives a total of 2.4m. Any increase in dimensions are EXTRAS.

Kitchen Counter Height formula:
(USER height/2)+5= xcm
For example: (170/2)+5 = 90cm

NOTE: Nowadays kitchen is often called OPEN kitchen due to the open dining/living/kitchen. However the PRINCIPLE stays the same.

The PRINCIPLE of a living room design is to have enough DISTANCE and VIEWING ANGLE with your TV. The SIZE and CIRCULATION path of your living room will also dictate your sofa design and arrangement.
